INTERNATIONAL DAY OF INGIGENOUS PEOPLE

It is the right of indigenous peoples to make their own decisions and implement them in ways that align with their cultural beliefs and values which are fundamental aspects that need to be respected and protected. As TNDP our aim is to outline the importance of recognizing and upholding these rights within the context of indigenous communities in our areas of operation. During this year’s event of the day of indigenous peoples, we celebrated and respected the rights of indigenous peoples to make their own decisions and execute them in ways that are meaningful and is culturally appropriate and essential for promoting their well-being, preserving their heritage, and fostering sustainable development. By upholding these rights, we can create a more inclusive and equitable society that honors the diversity and richness of indigenous cultures.
